Definitely not! The Cat Food Topper targets allergens at their source, while the Cat Allergen Neutralizing Spray addresses existing allergens in the environment by blocking them from triggering your immune system. We recommend using both for full and complete relief!
The Topper should last about 4 weeks, but this may vary depending on the amount you serve to your cat.
While our Cat Food Topper will be launching with just a chicken flavor as the main flavor, we're currently also putting together a formula with salmon instead. The goal is to have this new flavor out within the next few months.

On average, the topper should start taking effect a few days after your cat begins consuming it. However, this may vary depending on the severity of your allergies and how long allergens have been accumulating in your household. Since the topper targets allergens at their source, we recommend using our Cat Allergen Neutralizing Spray simultaneously to eliminate allergen remnants in the air!
We understand that cats have their own taste preferences, just like we do. If your cat isn't a fan of the Topper and refuses to eat it, we suggest mixing it into their food so they’re less likely to notice it.

As far as I know this is the only product on the market that is an additive to any cat food to help reduce the levels of allergenic cat protein (FEL d 1). It is easy to add and both my 1y old and 15y old cat eat it without hesitation. It is a little hard to quantify the results but the spray has worked for us, and this food topper targets the source of the allergen directly (and spread the active Pacagen ingredient to their fur/skin when they lick). I am excited to see the trajectory of Pacagen and the further improvements that are sure to come down the road to their products.

I’ve been feeding my 2 kitties this topper for about 2 weeks. They seem to actually like the taste of it and we’ve had zero tummy troubles. I can’t tell at this point if the allergens are reduced yet because It hasn’t been long enough, but I am hopeful. I’m an advocate for wet food so I would like to cheer on this company for making a topper instead of a dry food!

I have been a user of their spray for a few months but I'm so glad they came out with this product. So much easier to use and we've been seeing great results even without spraying that frequently anymore!
