Pacagen's allergen neutralizing technology resembles a conventional antibody, an important protein in all immune systems. Our proteins are roughly a tenth the size of a conventional antibody, so it can fit into smaller spaces and more easily bind to different allergens. Although humans don’t naturally produce our proteins as a part of their immune process, camelids (such as alpacas) can! We create a blueprint for these proteins by leveraging an alpaca's immune systems in the lab, enabling us to further use our neutralizing technology for a wide range of applications without requiring any additional samples. Pacagen's neutralizing technology resembles small fragments of antibodies, which are an important part of all immune systems. These proteins have highly specific receptors that bind to target allergens.

For cat allergies, the major allergen is Fel d 1. We’ve designed our proteins to target and break down any Fel d 1 in their vicinity. These proteins bind to Fel d 1, simultaneously disguising it from your immune system and breaking it down. As a result, your immune system does not detect a threshold level of active Fel d 1, preventing your allergies from being triggered.

The Allergen Neutralizing Powder works best when it is first dissolved and mixed well into a specialized solution. For your convenience, we’ve included a spray bottle in our Starter Packs. One packet of the Allergen Neutralizing Powder contains enough protein to be dissolved in 275 ml (9.3 fluid ounces) of liquid. We recommend using our Stabilizing Solution, as it is specifically formulated to improve the shelf life of the neutralizing protein. Simply mix the powder until it is fully dissolved in the solution of your choice, and then pour it into a spray bottle. Spray around areas your cat frequents every 2-3 days for best results. Since our neutralizing technology consists of proteins, they are subject to degradation when dissolved in tap water, as minerals and impurities can disturb the proteins' structure. The Stabilizing Solution is formulated to preserve the proteins' structure for as long as possible without hampering their neutralizing properties. You can find a full ingredient list below:

Definitely! We made sure to use a pet-friendly approach when creating our formulas. Each ingredient was hand-picked to be safe for everyone involved, whether four-legged or not. However, it's best to avoid spraying directly onto cats – cats usually don't like getting wet. Additionally, the allergen-neutralizing proteins are always manufactured to food-grade standards.

Spraying frequency depends on many factors, including how much Fel d 1 your cat produces, the severity of your allergies, and how sensitized your immune system is. We recommend starting by spraying once every 2-3 days, then adjusting the frequency based on whether your symptoms persist.

Depending on the concentration of allergens in your living space, improvements should be noticeable within hours, though some customers have reported seeing results up to 3 days after the initial application. It's best to use our products regularly to prevent the accumulation of active allergens.

The spray doesn't expire, but the neutralizing proteins lose effectiveness over time. When dissolved in our Stabilizing Solution, these proteins remain stable for up to 2 months. In standard distilled water, they remain stable for up to only 1 month. We do not recommend dissolving any of the Allergen Neutralizing Powder in tap water, as the minerals in tap water can disrupt the neutralizing proteins' structure.
