What makes Pacagen The Most Effective Solution To Cat Allergens?

How Do Allergies Happen?

All allergies are triggered by generally harmless proteins called allergens. Allergens affect different people in different ways.

When an allergic person's immune system is exposed to an allergen, their immune system mistakenly identifies the allergen as harmful.

The immune system then launches an attack against the allergen. However, nearby cells get affected by the attack too, which is felt as an allergic reaction.

What's Pacagen's Science?

The allergen for cat allergies is known as Fel d 1, found in cat saliva. As cats groom themselves, Fel d 1 makes its way onto cat fur, which eventually gets shed all over.

Pacagen makes proteins called nanobodies that bind to and neutralize active Fel d 1 on cat fur. Our nanobodies are highly specific and extremely effective at binding to Fel d 1.

The nanobodies, once sprayed, only bind to nearby Fel d 1. Nanobody-bound Fel d 1 passes through humans harmlessly, making our sprays both effective and safe!
